is it just me or was the biggest problem dwight roasting michael? throughout the entire series, dwight has always been michael loyal "sidekick." but now he turns on michael? that was the point in the episode that almost made me want to turn the tv off, along with the stupid and pointless pirated movie bit. the thing that i think saved the episode from total disaster was michael's roasts of everyone in the office, especially kevin's. hilarious, absolutly hilarious. overall this is about a 6 or 6.5. i was absolutely disappointed after seeing the previews of the fire scene (which i'll admit was good, especially angela's cat). i hope we get to see the old dwight that we all fell in love with soon.

Ryan went to... can't remember, but he left to do something there a couple of episodes ago.

And celebrities are always willing to small cameos for shows they like. Stupid for the network to try to use tiny cameos as an incentive to watch, though.

Yeah, I've been wondering about Ryan for so long now. Guess he's no longer temping. But anyway, as someone who had heard nothing about guest stars (even though it now seems like everyone else knew about it) I was confused as to whether it was a real movie they were watching. I figured it out during that bathroom make-out scene, and I kept waiting for the punchline, but there wasn't one. I think if I would have been less upset if I had known about the guest star thing, but not knowing it came as a surprise, a very bad surprise.

I too agree the cameos were lame. How much did the producers pay those movie stars to appear in such a worthless subplot that practically everyone agrees didn't belong in the first place? Also, this episode brings back a point that I often note: Somebody (in this case, Dwight) does something completely inappropriate that corporate finds out about but does nothing, even though in real life you would get canned for doing it. And speaking of Dwight, it aggravates me that there has been no continuation of bad feelings between Dwight and Andy and Angela for all they went through. And whatever happened to Ryan? I thought he was back in the office.

I agree with you on a couple of things, Chuck should've been the post Super Bowl show and that it was the worst use of guest stars I think I've ever seen. That pirated movie story was just a complete waste and promoting Jessica Alba on the show, when she barely makes a cameo was the lamest of all.

On the other hand, I laughed more at this episode than I have in awhile. I know you thought it was funny as well, but when I'm watching a comedy that's the most important thing to me. If you excise the pirated movie stuff, I think you have the best episode of the season.

Lastly, I do wonder what someone that has never watched The Office before thought of the show. Can't wait to find out how many people watched as compared to how many usually do and whether the next new episode will show any ratings improvement.
