This post went up at 7pm PST. If you’re going to do a spoiler post for the finale an hour before it even airs on the West Coast, PLEASE don’t put a picture of the winners near the top. Makes it pretty impossible to avoid spoilers when people are skimming their RSS readers.

That said, good post. I would have been fine with any of the 3 teams getting the win, but the point about Victor and Tammy having grown through the race does make them the well-deserved winner.

About the pig carry, besides being a little disgusting, I thought it was a great illustration of how one team had changed through the race and one hadn’t: Victor seemed like he was truly trying his best to be supportive to Tammy as she struggled, rather than dismissive, as he had been before, whereas Jaime was a total jerk to Cara, as always. So good on T&V.

Yeah, that was a particularly strong finish thanks to the huge comeback that took place, and the far more vindicating victors. I will say, though, that this challenge I prefer more thanks to the fact that they should have remembered these things: the flags required existing geography knowledge, where this one was all memory recall and felt more “fair” if I were to use that word.
