Thanks a lot for this insightful review. I didn't expect to be that much excited viewing the show.
The first five-minutes, I though I was watching a not so subtle crossover between Sunshine and Harsh Realm. Thank God, this first impression quickly faded and I was soon enjoying every playful trick the writers throw at us, viewers.

This show is quite unique in the sense that, it's ready on its pilot, to tackle right ahead with psychological manipulation plots, paranoïa and delusion. I hate to have to watch 6-7 episodes of a show before getting to the meat of the script and know for sure if I'm gonna follow for the whole season. You somewhat feel cheated when you finally realize where the show is really going to and you had to wait for such a long setup to finally understand it.

This was bold. I liked it.

I thought a lot of Philip K. Dick's novels while watching the show. Was I the only one ?

I'd realy realy like to see this show on air.

Has to be the most thought-provoking pilot I have ever seen since it provokes questions on what we regard as reality and how we indulge our fantasies through virtual gaming and reality shows today.

Also, what I found most fascinating with the pilot was that every character was interesting and complex, each carrying their own set of internal conflicts and seeking some sort of resolution or escape through their virtual modules. I would have liked to see why Frank felt the compulsion to immerse himself in Civil War battlefields or what the virtual man meant by "You're not fooling anyone, Frank."

I enjoyed reading your thorough and insightful blog and agreed with every word. Thanks!

I loved it! Best pilot I have seen in a long time! I wrote a lot about it also - my review is up on my blog. Great rundown, Myles! I agree with almost everything you said!

I loved it, too. Very much more than I liked Caprica. I didn't connect with any of the characters in Caprica and found that I didn't really care what happened to them, but I was drawn into this almost immediately. It's a shame they couldn't just trade or something. Sigh.

I was lucky enough to catch the premiere by accident. I hadn't heard anything about this show. I enjoyed it a lot. I actually thought it was a movie, heh. Hopefully this continues and gets moved to a better timeslot. I really (REALLY) enjoyed it.

I like how their VR worlds provide a little extra and it's just over all really interesting. I'm interested to see where it's going.

I loved it and I have a feeling no one is watching it. It's Friday of course, but I mean the marketing was 0%. Man we had a chance for if my memory serves me correctly the first 2001, Sunshine, Moon, Solaris "realistic space travel" show on television. I love Star Trek & Star Wars style shows, but it would've been so great to see a "minimalist" sci-fi show on television.
