This is a false assumption, since she was asked to host early in the summer, long before the VMAs and Kanye. The biggest problem with SNL tonight was that they failed to use Taylor’s natural comedic talent, which you can see if you watch her self-made video blogs. They should have had her more involved in the writing and not tried to put her in situations that are not her usual behaviour or area of comedy. Other examples of her own comedic talent are her “Minnesota Soccer Mom” impression and her various British impersonations, look them up on youtube or her myspace videos.
