This episode was definitely the star of the season for me for exactly the reason you list: it was about the students. (Aside from the Sue storyline, but really, who doesn’t love Sue?)

Puck and Finn’s wheelchair fight was also incredible because it led to. “I’m just really stressed about the bake sale. I really like Artie, okay?” (I’ll def be including that line as one of this week’s 10 best!)

They seem to have gotten the wheelchairs at a tag sale. And not old-school barely movable ones, either.

Having had a handicapped father, I about want to die laughing at that compared to real life, but I’ll let it slide for purposes of awesome here.

Terri didn’t come up in the conversation is because Finn doesn’t know Quinn’s planning on passing it on to her. He just thinks the baby’s going up for adoption to the first couple that comes along.

I’m pretty sure that’s the case, anyways.

Is it just me, or are a LOT of shows commenting on America’s healthcare system lately? Just last week, Sons of Anarchy had Chibbs joking about how he’s fallen into “the uninsurable bracket”, and tonight one of Glee’s subplots revolved around Quinn and Finn getting their asses kicked by a single sonogram bill.

I was misremembering that scene, thanks – still interesting that Terri’s name was never even mentioned in the context of that conversation, though.

As for the wheelchairs, I think that the insinuation was that the nursing home or some other establishment has wheelchairs they could borrow or rent cheaply or…something. It was vague, but I’d consider it less a plot hole and more a plot gloss-over.

Just a couple notes. You mention Terri’s offer to pay Quinn’s medical bills. Quinn asked her to pay those bills, but Terri declined saying she was already doing enough as she’d be paying all the expenses of rearing the child.

I enjoy Glee, and willingly ignore most plot holes etc… but… unless I missed something, the wheelchairs seem too major a hole to ignore. How much does it cost to rent a van for sectionals? Because I’m thinking buying all those wheelchairs (even on sale) would be a helluva lot more!

All that said, I agree. This was step in the right direction for Glee.
