I'm belatedly catching up to Smash (which I really enjoyed) - in an extremely unlikely but interesting pitch idea, wouldn't it be great if NBC combined Smash and Awake to create a story where both Karen and Ivy get the parts in alternating realities? I'd watch the heck out of that...

["Her realization that she needed Aaron, having lost Sawyer and feeling distance from Jack, and that while selfish it was something she had to do in order to survive to this point, just as giving Aaron to his grandmother was something else she had to do."]

She needed Aaron to survive? Really? Why? Why why why do people like you always find a way to make some kind of excuse for Kate Austen? Why not simply admit that Kate's decision to keep Aaron was an act of pure selfishness and something that she should HAVE NEVER done in the first place? Have you considered that?

Bazinga is Texan, I believe, anyway, I have cousins that use it, much as somebody else would use "Snap" or "You go". It's not a punchline, it's an insult to the person who didn't get the practical joke.

I think the second thing you're missing- is that Sheldon is disabled and does have a learning disability. He's a stereotypical high functioning autistic. As such, the line about him being "special" is a holdover from the late 1990s when high functioning autistics (also known as "Asperger's" autistics to separate them from "Kanner's" autistics, who do not speak) were called "special children" since they often excelled at academics while being severely disabled socially.

Hey! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
