It’s been over a year and a half since I last posted here at Cultural Learnings, and so I doubt anyone is following this so closely and yet not aware of what’s happening via my social media channels. That mention of assembling former A.V. Club writers like Donna Bowman and Zack Handlen really caught my attention — their voices were always a highlight of that site. It’s a smart move to bring that collective energy into a newsletter format, where the focus can stay tight on episodic TV without the noise. Looking forward to seeing how the rotation of critics handles a show like the new season of House of the Dragon.
